Things to do

  • Take the car or go by boat to stylish St Tropez (24km), playground of the rich and famous. Alternatively, drive along the scenic Corniche road to visit Cannes (49km), Nice (85km) and Monaco (99km).
  • Build sandcastles on the long sandy beaches at Les Issambres (1km), Ste Maxime (8km), St Aygulf (6km) or Frejus (13km). Alternatively try rock pooling in one of the hundreds of small coves.
  • Head inland to the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon (97km) - at 700 metres deep, regarded as the Grand Canyon of Europe.
  • Spend a day exploring the quaint village of Port Grimaud (16km) otherwise known as Little Venice.
  • Thrill seeking at Aqualand Frejus (13km) - the biggest water park on the the Cote d'Azur - or Ste Maxime (8km).
  • Explore the charming and historic village of Roquebrune (18km) built in 975AD. The countryside around the village is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty.
  • Discover the beautiful twin villages of Gassin (23km) and Ramatuelle (25km) perched up high above the St Tropez peninsula. Walk down the street called l'Androuno - claimed to be the narrowest street in the world.
  • Visit picturesque Villefranche (94km), a small medieval village with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful sandy beach.
  • Take a trip to Grasse (65km) where the French perfume industry began in the 16th Century.
  • Visit Cavalaire (29km), a pictureque resort particularly renowned for its watersports. The Jet Ski Games competition is held here annually in September.
  • Visit the historic town of Frejus (13km) with its Roman amphitheatre and cathedral.
  • Play a round of golf at Ste Maxime (8km), St Raphael (15km) or Roquebrune (18km).

  • Try mountain biking, canoeing or waterskiing in Roquebrune (18km)
  • Enjoy sailing, parasailing and wakeboarding in nearby St Raphael (15km).
